Over the last few years I have really gotten into preparing food and meals for the entire week. Meal prep can help save you time throughout the week because the cooking part is already done. It can also save you money because you won’t need to eat out for lunch or dinner!
The meals that I create are all clean eating friendly. However, meal prep does NOT have to be clean eating. Make the foods you love that will help you reach your individual goals. Diets that are gluten free, vegan, high carb, low carb, etc can all be accommodated through your meal prep.
It might seem overwhelming for you to immediately start making 15+ meals all in one day. Trust me, I did NOT start that way. It was a slow progression into what I do now, which is in fact preparing 15 meals for the week in one day.
To help ease you into meal prep, I am excited to announce that I will be doing a 12 Week Meal Prep Series! Each week I will focus on one aspect of food preparation. You can customize each task to your liking and how much time you have.
Here are some examples of what to expect: cooking chicken, making breakfast for the week, making healthy sides, etc. I will also be joining the meal prep series, so each Grocery Shopping & Meal Prep Ideas posts will follow the 12 Week Meal Prep Series.
For even more ideas for each week’s task, sign up for my newsletter. I’ll email you tips, suggestions and recipes to incorporate each week based on that week’s assignment. Try to build your meal prep skills each week by incorporating a few more meal prep tasks into your day.
If you have questions about the 12 Week Meal Prep Series then please ask! Email me at eatliftplayrepeat@gmail.com.
